I was fortunate to have attended the 2022 Cowgirls with Cameras Workshop at the Cottonwood Ranch. I learned more in one day than I ever thought possible. I was dog tired and smiling ear to ear at the end of every day!
I couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable and generous group of mentors! Phyllis, Cara, and Kim are the most perfect blend of knowledge and professionalism in photography, editing, life coaching, business and of course, horses!
I attended the Cowgirls with Cameras clinic through Art of the Cowgirl. Kim and Phyllis are excellent instructors and helped me to reignite my passion for photography when I was on the verge of burning out. I’ve also been able to do a virtual mentorship with Cara. All three instructors are great teachers who give honest feedback and are committed to helping their students grow. Coming away from the workshop, not only did I have a boosted confidence level, I also have three mentors that I can reach out to as I continue to grow as an artist and businesswoman. Most recently, one of my photos from the clinic was even featured on the Art of the Cowgirl Elite Horse Sale Catalog! Highly recommend working with the Cowgirls with Cameras crew!

I had the most fabulous time with the Cowgirl with Camera posse. I did not really know what to expect at the Dryhead Ranch photo retreat but every expectation I didn’t know I had was met. A fantastic group of talented photographers and with a common interest, immediate friendships began. So many stories, so much beautiful scenery, so much wonderful home cooked food, so many real life down to earth cowboys and cowgirls….it was the vacation of a lifetime I didn’t know I needed. Cara, Kim and Phyllis were beyond welcoming and helpful with photography and the shoots were well thought out. The light…the sunrises (albeit early) were gorgeous and the sunsets were beyond stunning. The ranchers were the perfect models. Highly recommend to anyone who likes good people, great photography and scenery to die for.

Overall, the Cottonwood Ranch Immersive Photography Experience was an unforgettable experience that provided the perfect balance of learning, relaxation, and adventure. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is passionate about ranch/equine photography and looking to improve their skills in a beautiful and inspiring setting.

The Trapper’s Lake Lodge workshop was the best one that I went to with Cowgirls with cameras. There is no words that can discribe the beauity of Colorado. Everyday we did morning and afternoon photo session. The lodge planned everything for us and all the people we photographed were so welcoming. The lodge was fantatic and the food was great.
Cowgirls with Cameras are great! I have attended several of their events over the years. Not only do I enjoy the trips and content I get for my business I enjoy each of these ladies as individuals. Great way to learn and connect with people who share common interests and goals. I highly recommend any of their events !
Cancellation and Refund Policy

Payment in full for all events is due at least 60 days prior to the event start date. Payment plans are available.
Your non-refundable deposit will hold your spot at the event.
Cancellations on the part of the participant made 60-days prior to the scheduled date of a workshop = full refund, minus deposit, or hold payment for attendance at a future event.
Cancellations on the part of the participant made less than 60-days of a scheduled photo tour = a 50% refund, minus deposit
Cancellations made less than 30-days from a scheduled photo tour = no refund.
Cowgirls with Cameras, LLC will make every effort to fill the spot should the participant have to cancel, if we are able to do so a full refund will be sent.
Cancellations must be made in writing and received by our office by either US mail or email. We also encourage a courtesy call to confirm receipt of your cancellation and to help us make necessary adjustments to our scheduled experience.
